• Consent: to analyze text messages or Gmail messages where you enable those features, to use your age group to personalize your experience, and to send you marketing communications. • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Services, prevent fraud, scams, and abuse, perform analytics using de-identified information, and administer our business, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms;
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from public authorities, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

HOW WE PROTECT AND RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

• Security
  We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and protecting the devices you use to access the Services.
• Retention We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, manage your account and subscription, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests.
  You may delete your account and personal information at any time from within the app settings, or by contacting us at privacy@scamranger.ai, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain information.
• Where We Store Your Information and International Transfers Your personal information is stored on servers located in Germany, within the European Union.
  Where personal information is transferred outside of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (for example, where members of our team access data from the United States in order to operate and support the Services), we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under applicable law, such as adequacy decisions, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your personal information only as necessary to operate and provide the Services, including with:

Subscription Payments

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are processed by Apple or Google, respectively. We do not receive or store your payment card information. We receive only the information necessary to manage your account and provide access to your subscription.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information.
We may request additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including processing for direct marketing;
• Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;

Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those communications.

Scanning Text Message

By enabling SMS scanning within the ScamRanger app, you authorize us to analyze text messages received from unknown senders solely for the purpose of identifying potential scams and providing scam assessments to you.
Any personal information contained within such messages is processed solely for providing the Services.
We may use anonymized and de-identified message data to improve our Services and machine learning models.
You may revoke this authorization at any time through your device settings or by contacting us.

Scanning Gmail Messages

By enabling Gmail scanning within the ScamRanger app, you authorize us to analyze emails in your Gmail account solely for identifying potential scams and providing scam assessments.
Any personal information contained within those emails is processed solely for providing the Services.
ScamRanger’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use data obtained from Gmail to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
You may revoke this authorization at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

USE BY CHILDREN

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information as soon as practicable.
If you believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@scamranger.ai so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

INTERACTION WITH THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS

Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party websites, applications, or services.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

ANALYTIC TOOLS/COOKIES

We currently do not use analytics tools, cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies for analytics or marketing purposes on our Website. We may update this Privacy Policy in the future if we implement such technologies.

US STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Our Website currently does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about an individual's online activities across different websites through our Services. California residents may have additional privacy rights under applicable California law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
